Save Hazel Grove's NatWest Branch

NatWest has announced plans to close its London Road branch on 19th June, leaving residents and businesses without vital banking services.

Local Liberal Democrat councillors and MP Lisa Smart are fighting to stop this closure. Lisa has written directly to NatWest bosses, and alongside Hazel Grove councillors, she has launched a petition to keep the branch open.

Hazel Grove resident and Lib Dem councillor, Cllr Jake Austin said:

“This is yet another blow to vital public services in our community, following uncertainty around Stockport Post Office. Many residents and businesses rely on this branch, and its closure will have a huge impact on our community.”

The closure will make everyday banking harder for many, particularly older residents, small businesses, and those who rely on in-person services.

Save Hazel Grove's NatWest Branch

I/we oppose the closure of NatWest’s London Road branch. This branch is vital to the community, and we call on NatWest to reverse its decision and keep it open.
