Lisa Smart MP and the Lib Dem team at Woodbank Park

Woodbank Hall

Woodbank Hall is a Grade II* listed building, dating from 1814. After spending many years in a state of disrepair, Stockport Council under the Liberal Democrats invested around £250,000 into the building to remove asbestos, and carry out critical repairs to ensure that the building was watertight and would not fall into further neglect.

We are currently in discussions with the Council and with Heritage organisations to develop a long-term plan for the site, to give it a modern use, while respecting its historic importance to the town.
